There are so many people out there that have chosen exercise as their New Year’s resolution this year. Which form of exercise is the best one out there to take?
Gym
The gym can be a great place to go to not only to exercise but for help on exactly what you need to do so lose that weight or work on those muscles. the great thing about a gym membership is that you get people that are there to help you out. However the major problem with this is that it can be very expensive and if you are not going with friends and are without an iPod you are going to be pretty bored. More often than not it takes a very large chunk of your pay away from you and on top of rent/mortgage and bills it will stop you from buying things you want.
Running
Running can be a cheap and affordable way to get exercise. I would advise going out in the early mornings or just as the sun is setting to get the benefit of the cool weather. This is certainly something that can be good for the body as it will slowly introduce it to the exercise. However running in public is not something that everyone feels comfortable doing which is why many people hate it.
Cycling
Cycling is of course another alternative and many new people take up cycling every year. This is only going to grow further as people become more aware of the environment and the C02 omissions that cars let out. The only problem is that once again it can be costly. There are so many other options out there to choose from such as weight lifting at home, swimming and you could even use the Wii. The best thing that I can suggest you do is just to go with what you feel comfortable doing.
