Those who drank the serving of grapefruit juice at each meal lost just slightly less weight in the same period of time. Many of the participants lost more than 10 pounds in 12 weeks. The doctor who conducted the study found that the grapefruit diet seems to reduce levels of insulin. But the weight loss may have also been due to increased levels of exercise. Here are the rules for the grapefruit diet: - Drink eight servings of water a day. - Eat until full. - Eat every item of food listed for each meal because the menus are formulated to burn fat. - Grapefruit is the key – so eat that as specified. - One cup of coffee can be consumed at each meal. - No snacking. - Eat butter if you want. - Avoid sweets and starches such as bread and potatoes. - Eat any amount of meat, salad and vegetables to make you full. - Eat until full in order to maximize weight loss. - Follow the diet 12 days on, 2 days off, 12 days on etc. - Grapefruit comes before every meal - ½ fruit or 18 ounces of the juice. Lately, I’ve been hearing a lot of echoed comments about no matter how hard you work at losing them; those love handles just refuse to disappear. Some days it seems common sense to think that just looking at a food photo is fattening.Almost as if there is some secret carb that can sneak under your belt line and you might have just gotten to close.

Maybe they call them love handles because they will not go away.

Do you suppose we have been lied to when it was suggested they were there for improving the groove? I don’t know about the rest of you but I am fed up with constantly trying to get rid of them.Most of the solutions I try to get rid of them shrink my bank balance rather then where I really want to lose a bit of excess fat.

I actually had a bad dream about my Love Handles.

I had a dream that they were this awful give of curse from a women that I once dated. She had this voodoo doll of me and was Super-Gluing Pillsbury Doughboy pieces to me. I woke up in a cold sweat and it hit me what a good idea it was when I broke it off with her.I never really thought she was nuts?Possibly it’s just my over the top diet that’s driving me nuts.
