Guess the amount of money spent on diet supplements each year?  It’s huge!

In total, it’s sixty billion dollars.  Think about how much this is!  There’s a lot of zeros in there!

This shows you two things.  First, a huge amount of people around the globe are hoping to lose weight.  Next, these people are so anxious to lose weight that they are willing to spend their cash as a way to try to speed up the results.

Unfortunately, a lot of these products are outright scams.  Usually these “scams” come in one of two forms.  Either the product simply doesn’t work, or the price of the product is way more than it should be.

For example, I was browsing through Costco the other night and found a diet product that was selling for 70 bucks.  It had a fancy label, great packaging and all kinds of promises about the results it can deliver.

What was in this magic pill?  Nothing more than green tea extract pills……

Now - green tea extract is thought to be somewhat helpful in the fight against weight loss, but there’s no way these pills are worth $70. 

In fact, I was able to find a bottle of pills with the IDENTICAL ingredients, but it was simply being sold as green tea extract and not as a weight loss product. 

How much was this one?  A whopping $6.99. 

Sadly, the people selling the expensive pills is simply taking advantage of overweight people’s emotions and pushing their product with aggressive marketing.  And unfortunately, many people fall for it.

And trust me, this pill alone will never give you a big jump in your weight loss plans.  It might help a touch, but it definately isn’t a miracle pill.

The best diet pills or best weight loss supplements won’t only contain one ingredient.  Seek out a product that contains a good number of different ingredients or herbs.  This provides you a variety of tools that it can use to drop the weight off.

Now, I don’t want you to read this and think that no pill is worth $69.99.  In fact, there are some great diet pills that are in this price range.  {However,But} I promise you that the good ones don’t just have one ingredient in them.
