After looking into the subject I have noticed that a lot more men are willing to wear things like silver rings nowadays and this is actually down to many different things.
Style
Because there is so much change in the world it can be said that the styles are changing too which is why it is far more acceptable nowadays. Twenty years ago it would almost be very unacceptable for a guy to go around wearing his favourite silver earrings but nowadays it is a lot more common to see a guy wearing various bits of jewellery. Of course if you think back to the 80’s the only people that really worse jewellery were the people in the crazy pop videos and of course the people following them.
Acceptable
It is certainly safe to say that there are far more people that are ready to accept different groups than their used to be and this is certainly a good thing. Although there are still many groups such as CHAVS that are still not and hopefully never will be accepted there are other groups such as Emo’s, Goth’s and Hippies that many people actually accept.
