What kind of laptop will UW-Stout provide me?
Freshmen in most of UW-Stouts programs will receive high performance HP laptop computers loaded with software. Freshmen in Art or Graphic Communications Management programs will be given fully loaded Apple laptop computers. UW-Stouts e-Scholar laptop program includes ongoing maintenance and technical support. Because technology rapidly changes, the laptop will be upgraded every two years.More than 95 per cent of the worlds computers are PC-based but you will be trained on both platforms.

Can we deliver to outside of the UK Mainland ?
Your delivery costs will be calculated for you at the end of your order. All European deliveries must abide by their own countries taxation laws (Orders CANNOT be sent as GIFTS). Delivery costs will be calculated upon reaching the checkout.

How modern are your Facilities?
The R.E.L. Technical Engineering (“Tech”) facility is one of the newset and most strikingly designed on campus. Most computer science classes are held in this building. The Multimedia department is located in the north wing of the second floor. We have Film & Video Production studio’s, a “Mac Lab” (configured with Apple Macintosh workstations), and a “PC Lab” (configured with a combination of Dell, HP and Snap workstations and servers).Yes. We sell all major name brand computers and consumer electronics.

What brand of computers does Sierra Tech service?
We service any Windows-based machines, including but not limited to Dell, Gateway, Compaq, Sony, eMachines, and HP. Yes we do. We sell Acer America laptops. Acer is a subsidiary company of Texas Instruments. We have had great success with this brand, and our customers have as well. We generally carry two different models for different needs. No. Monitors are extremely dangerous, and expensive to work on.
