Following birth, things don’t get easier for parents or doctors as babies’ health
must be monitored closely before the baby can leave the hospital. A child’s future illnesses and medical problems can all be dictated early on in their lifetime depending on how healthy the baby is at the time of birth. There are hundreds of babies born each week that have health complications that can lead to a serious disease, a short-term sickness, or even death in the worst of cases. The health of the mother is just as important as the health of the baby during the pregnancy, during the birthing process, and following the birth.

A newborn baby should receive a certain amount of shots following his or her birth to prevent certain diseases and medical complications. Every couples of hours during the day a newborn baby needs to be fed in order to help him or her grow into a healthy child.

Babies can come down with a cold or a cough at any time during their infancy and if it is not cared for right away it could develop into something much worse that could cause long-term health problems.
