Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold: This movie was an unfortunate adventure bomb. Chamberlain returns to Africa looking for his sibling, who’s been tracking a lost off-white tribe. What is Blu Ray Technology

Blu-ray Disc is a term related to high definition television recording. An overall improvement over other technologies. The laser it uses is a blue-violet. The wavelength of the Blu-ray laser is different from the typical red laser used in DVDs. The wavelength is shorter, which allows storage of up to five times or more data on a Blue Ray DVD disk disc than you can get on a regular DVD.

Blu Ray Versus HD-DVD

Blu-ray competes directly with HD DVD formats. Toshiba lost the fight over the high-def standard when Blu Ray took over their HD-DVD format. It is no surprise that Blu Ray won over HD-DVD since it holds many advantages.

The name is trademarked. The format was developed by the Blu-Ray Disc Association, which is comprised of several big brand manufactureres, including Sony. Blu Ray is pretty much the standard now for high-def with most studios releasing new movies in this format. See lists of all Blu Ray Movies Releases and Reviews.

Life in High-Def

On large or super large televisions, Blu-ray Disc lets you enjoy the best possible video and have the clearest sound with it. No one can argue that with the super high-def televisions, home theaters and Blu Ray combinations available the home movie experience is fantastic.

The movies are something to experience with a high quality sharp picture and superb sound. Over 9 hours of high definition video can be stored on one 50GB Blu-ray Disc. It is probable that in the future, DVD will become obsolete, as are VHS tapes and Blu Ray will be the movie format for home video. It is also good at interacting and networking. Due to it having high-def audio the sound quality is excellent as well.

Blu Ray is surely the video of the present and future. It’s just a matter of time that all recording formats will be using this technology.

I love cartoons, and of course, my cute, adorable, and sweet little kids love them, too. Every evening, before going to bed, we watch the latest episodes of “The PowerPuff Girls”, or “Dexter’s Laboratory”. There is some argument on which is better, of course. I like Dexter, while they prefer Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup.

I grew up watching cartoons from Disney, so my passion is understandable. I wanted to share this with them as well, but they seem to like watching Cartoon Network more than watching Cinderella. I eventually gave in, and started watching TV with them, but I’m still fonder of Disney cartoons.  

They like watching cartoons so much that they asked me to get them something so they could watch their favorite episodes while going on trips, or on brakes at school. While I was against this at first, their sad faces got to me and I promised them I’d find something good. I decided to get them an mp3 player with video capabilities, and I had a lot of options.

I have checked all the models, and I finally decided that the sansa view 8gb mp3 is the best option. It is so easy to use, that any kid could do it, so I bought one for each of my girls. I loaded them up with all their favorite cartoons, and I made them a great surprise. When they unwrapped the presents, opened the boxes, and saw their new players, they were overjoyed.

Now, they take their new “toys” everywhere with them. They have learnt quite easily how to load cartoons and music on their players, and they watch them on every trip, and even on breaks, at school. And I can watch my beloved Disney movies without any arguments, any time I want.

The Bodyguard: Pop star Rachel Marron has been receiving threatening letters. They hire former secret service agent Frank Farmer. He is immediately disliked when he tries to tighten down security. Eventually the killer starts closing in, and Frank has been right all along.

Booty Call: Two Men looking for Condoms. Raunchy comedy is certainly Personal computer politically correct and pro-condom as these two luckless souls just couldn?t appear to please their hot to jog girlfriends till they find the exact latex supporter. Cast includes Jamie Foxx, Tommy Davidson, Vivica A. Fox, Tamala Jones, Scott LaRose, Kam Ray Chan, Ric Youthful, and Bernie Mac. (78 minutes, 1948)

Role Model: Two adolescent adults crash the company truck while partying. To avoid jail time they are offered 150 hours of community service. They are stuck mentoring hardship kids. Maybe jail time would have been easier.

The Mexican: Hardly satisfactory, overlong caper comedy featuring America’s darlings as a arguing couple who individually get engaged with thugs all around the Southwest and Mexico. When Pitt seeks down the titular weapon, an antique pistol, among every possible disaster, Roberts and mobster Gandolfini become irrepressible buddies. Gandolfini, predictably, robs the show. Gene Hackman appears unbilled. Cast includes Brad Pitt, Julia Robert” James Gandolfini, J.K. Simmons, Michael Cerveris, Bob Balaban, David Krumholtz, and Steve Rossi. (123 minutes, 2001)

It takes a tiresome hour and a half of monitor time to get back. Nothing offensive although additionally nothing particular; Rodriguez’s dull-witted comedy alleviation is a precise drag.
