The Samsung Eco-Friendly Phone

I may not be an environmentalist but when I came across this certain post; I was pleased to see some initiative being taken to protect the environment. Yes, of late human activities have laid a threat to our environment which in turn is a threat to existence of mankind. Margaret Mead, the renowned anthropologist, was right when she said – We won’t have a society if we destroy the environment.

Those who do not know, Cadmium and Lead in mobile phones can cause serious troubles to our environment. Also, the increased use of mobiles is adding to global warming.  Well, there is some good news for all the environmentalists- Samsung is soon going to bring out an eco-friendly mobile handset that is built out of non-toxic materials. In fact, the novel Samsung cell phone is made of waste plastic after recycling these harmful plastic discarded as garbage.

Samsung’s Blue Earth’s release date is somewhere in October.  The rest of the world will see the Blue Earth sometime after its release in Sweden. Samsung’s environment friendly mobile handset is manufactured out of non-toxic materials. In fact, the phone is a result of recycled waste plastic. A lot is being talked and discussed about measures the world has to take to prevent the degradation of environment and as an attempt to keep the environment healthy and free of toxin, Samsung has indeed taken a step in the from of its new phone ‘Blue Earth’.  In this scathing situation where the world is faced with a horrendous peril of degrading environment, making use of the plastic that we throw away in the bin into a harmless, Samsung’s eco-friendly cell phone, although with only basic features, is praiseworthy.
