There are many gadgets out on the market to make your life easier when cooking in your kitchen but just how useful are they, and are they really worth all the money?

10. The plate that heats and cooks your food. However brilliant this may sound it is really only capable of cooking an egg or two and that’s only if you like it fried! As well as this it is certainly not the nicest looking of tableware with a huge cable running down the back presumably so it can be plugged in.

This sounds like a fantastic invention for when you can’t be bothered to take out those hot bits of toast let the toaster do it for you. Although sounding brilliant there really isn’t a point as I’m sure crumpets and hot cross buns still get stuck and you still end up burning your fingers attempting to get them out
8. A hand crank juicer which saves on your energy bills even before you’re fully awake! If you had a choice you would still proberly get the electronic one purely because turning the handle is a waste of time and energy in the morning. A product like this could help towards trying to save money in the credit-crunch.
7. The hand power portable washing machine is fast, green and easy option to commercial laundry equipment. The plastic tub comes pre-assembled so you don’t have the stress of building it and you only need water, soup and dirty clothes. Truth be told this gadget is probably only going to be useful for campers or maybe if your washing machine breaks.
6. Vegetable peeler Rotato express does all the hard work. Although made to save time, it can be tiresome trying to put to product in the right position.
5. The dark side of the force reigns supreme with this Darth Vader themed toaster. This for me is by far the best gadget. You can’t go wrong with a bit of Star Wars in the morning
4. A block that you put knives in stops germs from spreading. A great thing to have for all those people that have OCD and want to be clean but it really isn’t necessary if you do your washing up properly.

2. The flatshare fridge is great for people who share as the fridge itself has many different compartments. A good invention for people who are always disagreeing over who bought what. however there isn’t much point when you already have seperate shelves on a normal fridge?
1. Toastabags are the best gadget to own on the entire list. They are so simple to use. You don’t even need a toasted sandwich machine anymore. There is also no cleaning to do after you have used the Toastabags.
However is someone really going to actually use these items? Maybe, maybe not. A lot of these gadgets are rather pointless but still deliver the cheap kicks of laughing at it failing on what it is supposed to do.
